Content Creator is a fan of cardio (doesn’t it make you feel so friggin’ good?!) and some people are definitely able to look lean by not lifting weights BUT We believe that the best way to “tone” is build some muscle mass (together with eating the right nutrition). This will help get more *defined* muscle. It does not burn as much calories during the workout but as you build muscle it will help your body burn more calories at rest. When you use progressive overload as you lift weights, to continuously push your muscles past what they previously have been able to do they will continue to get stronger (and bigger) which will make them more visible and help you get that “lean” look. Make sure to eat enough protein to support this muscle growth (typically 0.8-1.6g per lean pound of body weight per day is recommended for people who lift weights on a regular basis). The difference between whether we get a bulky or lean look is the body fat percentage. If we want to lower this, we may also want to be in a slight caloric deficit over a period of time. Adding in some cardio can definitely make that process easier aaaaaand it’ll just make you feel good won’t it?! More info on this in the ebook & app as well as on the youtube videos 🤗🙏🏼💪🏼
